Il Borgo is the red Super Tuscan from Tenute del Cabreo, the Folonari family estate in the Chianti Classico hills near Greve. It blends Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon, so it combines Tuscan cherry and herbs with darker cassis and structure. Medium-full and polished. Cabreo, 2022 vintage. Decant for 30 to 45 minutes. Pair with grilled steak, lasagna, or roast lamb.
