Masseto is Merlot from a single clay-rich hillside near the Ornellaia estate in Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast, and it is one of Italy's most celebrated wines. Expect dense plum, black cherry, and cocoa with notes of spice and earth, a velvety texture, and fine tannins that carry a long finish. Masseto, 2022 vintage.
