Negroamaro is the signature red grape of the Salento peninsula, in Puglia's hot heel of Italy. San Marzano is a large cooperative there, and F is one of its top bottlings. Blackberry, plum, dried herbs, and a touch of tobacco, with a round, full body and soft tannins. San Marzano, 2021 vintage. Serve slightly below room temperature. Pair with grilled sausages, orecchiette with meat ragù, or eggplant parmigiana.
