Etna Rosso comes from the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna in Sicily and is built on Nerello Mascalese, a grape often compared to Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo for its perfume and fine tannins. Expect red cherry, wild strawberry, dried herbs and a smoky, mineral edge over a light-to-medium frame with lively acidity. Pietradolce, based on Etna's north slope, 2022 vintage. Serve slightly cool, around 60 degrees, and give it a little air. Good with grilled tuna, pasta alla Norma, or roast chicken with herbs.
