Paolo Bea is a small family farm near Montefalco in Umbria and a benchmark for traditional, low-intervention winemaking, with long macerations and minimal handling. Rosso de Véo is built on Sagrantino, the region's powerful native grape, labeled Umbria IGT. Dark cherry, dried herbs, leather, and earth, with firm tannins and a wild, savory character. Paolo Bea, 2019 vintage. Decant well ahead and serve at cellar temperature. Pair with roast pork, lentils with sausage, or aged pecorino.
