Luiano is a family estate in the Chianti Classico zone, near Mercatale Val di Pesa south of Florence. Lui is one of its red wines bottled outside the Chianti Classico rules. Expect a full, polished Tuscan red with ripe dark fruit, spice and smooth tannins. Luiano, 2023 vintage. Open it half an hour ahead. Serve with grilled steak, pappardelle with ragù, or aged pecorino.
