Amarone is made in Valpolicella from Corvina and its partner grapes, which are dried for months before pressing to concentrate them into a powerful, dry red. The Riserva label requires extra aging before release. Raisin, black cherry, chocolate, and tobacco, with a velvety, warming body and the savory depth of a wine now past a decade old.
