Fiano di Avellino is one of southern Italy's finest white wines, from the hills of Irpinia in Campania. Joaquin is a small, independent producer there, and Vino della Stella is its Fiano. Pear, hazelnut, honey, and smoky minerality, with a rich texture and fresh acidity; Fiano is one of the few Italian whites that ages very well. Joaquin, 2022 vintage. Serve cool rather than cold.
