Soave Classico comes from the hills east of Verona, where the Garganega grape is grown on volcanic and limestone soils, and the best versions are far more serious than the name's reputation suggests. Gini is a long-established family estate in Monteforte d'Alpone, and Contrada Salvarenza comes from very old vines.
