Etna Rosso comes from the high volcanic slopes of Sicily's Mount Etna and is based on Nerello Mascalese, a grape often compared to Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. Donnafugata's Sul Vulcano is made from vineyards on the mountain's north side. Red cherry, wild strawberry, and a smoky, mineral note, with bright acidity and fine tannins. Donnafugata, 2022 vintage.
