Brunello is Sangiovese grown on the hills around Montalcino and held back for at least five years before release, two of them in oak. Depth without heaviness is the signature — concentration carried by acidity rather than sheer weight. Bottled by Collina Dei Lecci from the 2018 harvest. Give it forty-five minutes in a decanter. Made for roast and braised meats, or a long-cooked ragù.
