Pietra Marina is Benanti's top white and one of the defining wines of Etna. It is Carricante from the eastern slope near Milo, the only commune allowed to use the Etna Bianco Superiore designation. Lemon, green apple, flint and sea spray with piercing acidity and real depth, and it develops for years in bottle. Benanti, 2021 vintage. Serve cool. Pair with raw shellfish, grilled swordfish, or lemon risotto.
