Sagrantino is a grape found almost nowhere but the hills around Montefalco in Umbria, and it may be the most tannic red grape in Italy. Arnaldo Caprai did more than anyone to bring it back and gain it recognition. Collepiano is the estate's classic bottling: blackberry, black cherry, cocoa, clove and earth, with powerful tannins and a long finish. Arnaldo Caprai, 2020 vintage.
