Grown in slightly gentler conditions than Barolo, Barbaresco ripens earlier and requires less time in barrel before release. The aromatic signature is the same — rose, tar, red cherry — but the frame is softer and comes around years sooner. Piedmont sits at the foot of the Alps, and its cool autumns are what allow Nebbiolo to hang late into October. Bottled by Ada Nada Elisa from the 2022 harvest. Give it some air before serving. Pairs with braised meats and anything earthy.
