Condrieu is the northern Rhône appellation devoted entirely to Viognier, grown on steep granite terraces just south of Côte-Rôtie. This bottling comes from the L'Arbuel site. Apricot, white peach, and honeysuckle over a rich, round texture, kept fresh by a stony finish. Xavier Gérard, 2022 vintage. Serve cool rather than cold so the aromatics show. Pair with lobster, scallops in butter, or mildly spiced Thai dishes.
