Pintas is the flagship red of Wine & Soul, the Douro estate of winemakers Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges in the Pinhão valley. It comes from very old vineyards planted with a field blend of dozens of native Douro grapes grown together. Expect blackberry, black plum, violet, schist-like minerality and spice, with dense, fine tannins and fresh acidity. Wine & Soul, 2022 vintage. Built to age; decant for at least an hour if opening now. Serve with roast lamb, grilled steak, or game.
