Tinta Roriz is the Douro's name for Tempranillo, one of the key grapes in both Port and the region's dry reds. Quinta do Crasto, a family estate high above the Douro River, bottles it on its own from old vines. Black cherry, plum, cocoa and a hint of rockrose over a firm, fresh frame. Quinta do Crasto, 2019 vintage. Decant for an hour. Serve with roast suckling pig, grilled steak, or aged Portuguese cheeses.
