Luxardo has been making liqueurs in northeastern Italy since 1821, and is best known outside Italy for its marasca cherries. Its amaretto follows the traditional almond-and-apricot-kernel route rather than the syrupy commercial style, so it stays bitter enough underneath the sweetness to work in a drink. Use it in an Amaretto Sour, alongside coffee, or poured neat over ice after dinner.
