Romanée-Saint-Vivant is one of the six Grand Crus of Vosne-Romanée, and Les Quatre Journaux is Louis Latour's holding within it — a parcel the house has owned since the nineteenth century. Grand Cru Burgundy at this level is about texture and perfume rather than power: silk, red fruit, spice, and a finish that goes on far longer than the wine's weight suggests. Cellar it, or decant carefully and serve at 60°F.
