Thick skins and small berries give Cabernet Sauvignon its color, tannin and capacity to age. Blackcurrant, cedar and graphite, with a tannic frame that softens over years. Napa Valley remains America's benchmark for Cabernet, with a warm valley floor and cooler hillside sites producing very different wines within a few miles of each other. Bottled by Far Niente Napa Valley from the 2023 harvest. Cool room temperature, and a decanter if there's time. Pairs with grilled red meat, aged cheddar, and anything off a charcoal grill.
