Napa Sauvignon Blanc is a different proposition from Loire or New Zealand versions — riper, rounder, and often given some barrel or lees contact to add texture, without losing the grape's citrus and herb signature. Duckhorn has been making it in Napa since long before the variety became fashionable there. Serve well chilled. Very good with goat cheese, crab, ceviche, grilled asparagus, or a summer salad.
