Domaine du Cayron is a traditional, family-run Gigondas estate in the southern Rhône, known for old-school wines aged in large old casks. Like most Gigondas, it is Grenache-led, with Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre in support. Expect kirsch, raspberry, dried herbs, pepper and a savory, earthy edge, with firm but ripe tannins.
