Cantenac Brown is a Third Growth in the 1855 classification, based in Margaux — the Médoc commune known for producing the most perfumed and elegant of the left-bank wines. 2005 was one of Bordeaux's benchmark vintages, and twenty years on a wine like this should be entering its mature stride: cedar, tobacco, cassis, and resolved tannins. Decant carefully off any sediment and serve at 62°F.
