Calatayud, in the high, dry hills of Aragón, is home to some of Spain's oldest Garnacha vines. Breca comes from very old vines on slate and clay, and it is a darker, more serious take on the grape. Black cherry, raspberry, garrigue and a mineral edge with ripe, supple tannins. Breca, 2021 vintage. Serve slightly cool after half an hour of air. Good with grilled lamb, jamón, or Manchego.
