PiggyBack started as WhistlePig's cocktail-focused line — whiskey built specifically to hold its own against bitters, vermouth, and citrus rather than to be sipped in isolation. At six years and bottled at a higher proof than most mixing whiskey, it does exactly that: it survives dilution instead of disappearing into it. The obvious use is an Old Fashioned or a Manhattan that still tastes of whiskey.
