The Sherry Oak line is Macallan at its most characteristic — matured exclusively in sherry-seasoned European oak casks, the style that made the distillery's reputation long before the collector market found it. Twelve years in those casks gives dried fruit, ginger, and Christmas-cake spice with a rich, slightly oily texture. Neat, at room temperature, in a copita or Glencairn glass.
