The Capaldo family is best known for Feudi di San Gregorio, and Goleto takes its name from the medieval Abbey of Goleto in the hills of Irpinia, inland Campania. This is a red from that mountainous, volcanic-influenced country: dark cherry, plum, earth and spice, with firm structure and fresh acidity. Tenute Capaldo, 2022 vintage. Decant for 30 minutes.
