Chardonnay's affinity for oak and lees ageing is what gives the finest examples their texture. Barrel fermentation adds vanilla and texture; stainless steel keeps it lean and citrus-driven. This is the 2023 from Sea Smoke. Chill it, but let it warm slightly in the glass. Excellent with lobster, roast chicken, or a butter-based sauce.
