Argirio is Podernuovo a Palazzone's Cabernet Franc, grown on the Bulgari family's estate at San Casciano dei Bagni in southern Tuscany. The grape takes well to the site: red and black currant, violet, graphite, a leafy, herbal lift and fine, firm tannins. Podernuovo, 2021 vintage. Decant for about 30 minutes and serve slightly below room temperature. Pair with roast duck, grilled lamb chops, or mushroom risotto.
