Fontalloro is Fèlsina's 100% Sangiovese, drawn from vineyards straddling the border between Chianti Classico and the Colli Senesi near Castelnuovo Berardenga, and bottled as Toscana IGT. It is deep and firm: black cherry, plum, tobacco, dried herbs and a savory, earthy finish with firm tannins. Fèlsina, 2020 vintage. Decant for an hour, or cellar further. Serve with bistecca, braised veal, or aged pecorino.
