Chêne Bleu farms an isolated hillside estate on the slopes of Mont Ventoux, at the northeastern edge of the Southern Rhône. Héloïse is its Syrah-Grenache blend, cooler and fresher than most Rhône reds thanks to the altitude: blackberry, violet, black pepper, garrigue and fine, firm tannins. Chêne Bleu, 2019 vintage. Decant for an hour. Serve with herb-crusted lamb, beef daube, or wild mushroom dishes.
