Armagnac is France's oldest brandy, distilled in Gascony since the fourteenth century. Bas-Armagnac, with its sandy soils, produces the region's most delicate eaux-de-vie. Chateau de Laubade, 1973 vintage. Serve neat at room temperature in a tulip glass. Good after dinner, with or without dessert.
