Armagnac is France's oldest brandy — distilled in Gascony since the fourteenth century, and unlike Cognac it is traditionally column-distilled once at lower strength, which leaves more character in the spirit. Château de Laubade holds one of the largest reserves of vintage Armagnac in the region. A 1968 has spent decades in oak, and vintage Armagnac like this is one of the few spirits you can buy from a specific year. Room temperature, tulip glass.
