Graves is the gravel-soiled region just south of Bordeaux city on the left bank of the Garonne, known for both reds and whites and taking its name from those stony soils. Château Auney l'Hermitage is a Graves property. Expect a classic, restrained Bordeaux style, with the region's typical freshness and a gravelly, mineral edge rather than heavy ripeness.
