The Douro's terraced schist slopes produce the grapes behind Port. That fortification is why Port is sweet and strong at once, with dark fruit and spirit warmth. Portugal grows a wealth of indigenous grapes found almost nowhere else, which is why its wines rarely taste like anyone else's. This one comes from Broadbent Vinho Verde. A little below room temperature is right. Classic with blue cheese, walnuts, and chocolate.
