Blended Scotch gets unfairly dismissed by single-malt drinkers, but blending is its own craft: the point is to build something more balanced than any one distillate could manage alone. Ardray is a newer entrant working in that tradition, and blends of this type are generally more approachable than a heavily peated or heavily sherried malt. Good neat, better than most in a Highball with soda and a lemon twist.
