Tignanello, first made in the early 1970s, was one of the wines that started the Super Tuscan movement, blending Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc on the Antinori estate in Chianti Classico. Look for red cherry, plum, cassis, sweet spice and a savory, earthy core, with fine tannins and lively acidity. Antinori, 2022 vintage. Decant for an hour, or cellar for many years. Serve with bistecca, osso buco, or aged Parmigiano.
